My adult son and I took a nine day personally guided tour of China through Elysian Tours. We we met at the airport and taken to our hotel by private car. The hotel was exceptional even by Western standards. The next morning our English speaking guide took us to the Great Wall at a time to avoid crowds. We were escorted through the tour as we saw the highlights of this magnificent site. The guide spoke excellent English and was both friendly and helpful. With our first guide we visited the most popular attractions of Beijing. We saw the "old" and the spectacular "new". Our meals were first rate as well. Each guide in the three cites we visited was equally helpful.

Our travel to all of the cities we visited was arranged by Elysian and was excellent.

In each locality, our experience exceeded our expectations with quality guidance from the tour company. We believe that we saw much more of China that we ever could have on our own.

Shanghai must be the high point of our Chinese experience. Our guide tailored our tour to fit our interests. We were more than delighted with the personal care quality we received.

I certainly give Elysian FIVE STARS. They provided us with an outstanding experience of China.
