Elysian Tour was a great help! We were a family of three and planed a private tour in China. Our travel consultant Leah managed a classic 8-day trip of a triangle route revolving Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. The online booking process was easy to follow, and the tour itself went far beyond our expectation. Private tour was apparently a wise choice since we could set our own pace of sightseeing instead of sticking to restricted timings and itinerary. The first stop Beijing was absolutely an eye-opener where we not only saw the most developed part of China, but also got startled by its rich and magnificent world heritages including the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace. Shanghai was more of a stylish and modern metropolis with skyscrapers, which was somewhere like New York or Paris. Well, Xian was definitely a highlight of the trip as it was the city where we really got to know about Chinese history and culture. The terracotta army and the Hangyang Tomb were both mind-boggling to display Chinese people's belief in afterlife. Cycling on the centuries-old City Wall was cool, and the treasures we got in the Shaanxi History Museum were impressive thanks to a professional interpreter. Overall it was a wonderful tour. Highly recommended!
