Welcome to Zhangjiajie! On arrival, you are greeted by your guide holding a name plate at the exit, and then taken to your hotel in the Wulingyuan scenic area. Please have a good rest to get ready for your exciting exploration tomorrow.

In the morning, ride to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and take a shuttle bus to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. With the Bailong Elevator galloping into sky, thrill with excitement and at the sight of the fleeting scenery. Hike from the top and appreciate the marvelous scenery, such as No. 1 Bridge in the World, the Enchanting Terrace, and the Hallelujah Mountain, prototype of the suspending mountains in film Avatar. Food is limited here, but you could choose to have lunch in KFC or MacDonald, or savor snacks from stalls.

Proceed to the Tianzi Mountains by shuttle bus. Marvel at the countless misty "sandstone pillars" carved by the power of nature. Discover those well-known wonders from the viewing platforms, such as intricate Shentang Bay, vivid Imperial Brush Peak, etc. Then take a cable car to descend the mountain. 

Continue to take the shuttle bus to Ten-mile Gallery, known as a majestic landscape painting scroll. Whiling travelling a round-trip mini train along the valley, draw on your imagination to appreciate the peculiar peaks and rocks, which look like a herb-picking geezer, a mouse gazing at the sky, three sisters, etc. Then return to your hotel and have a good night.

Travel to Huangshi Village and take a cable car to the mountaintop. While hiking through the tracking routes, immerse yourself in the dreamlike cloud sea and boundless peaks and mountains, which look like an Arhat greeting guests, a gourd, a hand, etc. You may encounter rompish monkeys along the way. Then transfer to Golden Whip Stream by the shuttle bus. Ramble along the long stream and enjoy the fresh air, chirps, flora and ingenious mountains.

Next ride to Baofeng Lake, characterized by rich geological resources and animals, rare plants and the jade green lake peacefully laying on a mountaintop. While cruising on the tranquil lake, you'll be charmed by the picturesque and poetic beauty, and the sweet folk melodies sang by minorities. Afterwards, go back and stay for night.

Today, an approximate 4-hour drive leads you to the Fenghuang Ancient Town, a well-preserved minority agglomeration that traces back to AD1556 (the Qing dynasty).

Visit the exquisite former residence of Shen Congwen and learn about the Chinese writer's stories.

Marvel at the majestic 300-year-old East Gate Tower and savor cultural relics and antiques in the private Museum.

Appreciate the distinctive constructions and culture of Miao minority in Yang's Ancestral Hall, and admire the ethnic carved and decorated stilted buildings.

Then, enjoy the Tuojiang River Rafting and observe carefully to know more about this town of profound connotations.

In the morning, enjoy your free time in the old city, roaming about, tasting specialities, or going to the local fair, etc. Then your fantastic trip ends and you will be transferred back to Zhangjiajie for your departure.
