Upon arrival at Lijiang Airport, you will be picked up by a local guide and driver who will be waiting for you in the airport in advance. A private vehicle would be served to escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is your free time, and you could explore the old town on your own as it is easy to be navigated. 

Today, you will be led to conquer the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is viewed as the most sacred mountain among local Naxi people. During the upward cable car ride, you get a superb chance to capture a full view of its 13 lofty snow peaks. On landing, you will presented with picturesque highland meadow surrounded by spruce forest and snow-caped ridges. Then be ready to get boomed by the astounding Lijiang Impression Show. It is a large outdoor sing and dancing performance demonstrating the tradition and lifestyle of the local Naxi people with the majestic snow peaks and sky as the backdrop. 

Afterwards, you will be chauffeured to the Shuhe Ancient Town, the earliest settlement of Naxi ethnic group. It was also an important hub on the ancient Tea-horse trail, where you could still trace the rich culture by its historical relics and unique folk customs.

Then move to Baisha Village to wonder at the well-kept mural paintings dating back to Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), from which you could take a peek at the vivid life scene of Naxi ancestors. 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lugu Lake by our private vehicle, and the drive duration is about 6 hours.

Upon arrival, your guide will help you to check into a boutique hotel at Lige Island to leave your luggage, and then embark an enjoyable cruise on the Lugu Lake by a small wooden boat. Drifting leisurely, you would get marveled at the poetic natural beauty of the mirror-like lake. 

Land at the small Liwubi Island teeming with lush azalea trees and jungles, and have a short trekking to sight-see the exotic temples and pagodas.

Then you will venture into the Mosuo Folk Museum to have an in-depth insight into the only matriarchal clan society in China.

Seize the time to capture the breathtaking sunset over Lugu Lake at Luoshui Village, and your night would be highlighted with an animated bonfire party held by local Mosuo people dressed in their colorful attires. Join the dance and be a part of the great experience. 

Get up early in the morning to catch the fascinating sunrise over the picturesque Lugu Lake, and then enjoy a full view of the Lugu Lake by a slow-paced drive around the lake, with short stopovers for you to take amazing photos.

Firstly, you will drop by Nisai Village, a small settlement of Mosuo people famous for two couples of trees standing by the lakefront.

Then venture into the old and traditional Xiaoluoshui Village to discover the last real matriarchal society clan of Mosuo minority. There you would be amazed at their primitive way of life and unique walking-marriage custom.

After that, drop by the Zhamei Monastery to immerse yourself into the holy ambience of Tibetan Buddhism by a glance at the splendid praying hall, flickering butter lamps, exquisite Buddhist murals and carvings.

At the end of the tour, board your private vehicle and return to Lijiang to catch your flight to next destination.
