Upon your arrival in Kunming, your local tour guide and experienced driver will pick you up and then transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to recover and relax. In the morning, a 2 hours' drive will take you to the natural wonder of Kunming, the Stone Forest. As a unique 270 million year-old limestone landscape, the dream-like labyrinths are arrayed with rugged stone peaks rising up from the ground. Stone Forest boasts the most diversified karst formations in shapes of swords, pillars, mushrooms and pagodas that would definitely dazzle your eyes. After that, move to the Green Lake Park reputed as an emerald inlaid in the city. The park embraces lush greens and elegant lake views, with long dikes dividing the lake into five parts. Stroll along the well-paved walk along the causeway to inhale the cool air and stunning scenery and enjoy the vivid scene of local life. If visiting in winter, you could be delighted with thousands of migrant black-headed gulls on the waterfront waiting for visitor's feeding.  

Today, you will be escorted to railway station for a morning bullet train bound for Dali. Upon arrival, your local guide will come for pick-up. Sit back for a ride to the Erhai Lake sandwiched between Cangshan Mountain and Dali Old Town. Bright and crystal clear, a cruise will take you to discover the beauty of Erhai Lake. Disembark on one of the tree islands, Jinsuo Island to explore the peaceful temples of local Bai people's own religion as well as the fishing villages of Bai minorities. You could take a dip of Bai culture and lifestyle by meeting Bai people dressed in their typical bright-colored costumes or local seniors having their daily cormorant fishing. 

Then you will head for Chongsheng Temple famous for the iconic Three Pagodas, which is the most eye-catching sight of Dali. Dating back in 9th and 10th century, the pagodas cluster has withstood the earthquakes, wars and erosion, becoming the best place to retrace the far-reaching history of Dali.

Afterwards, you will be driven to Dali Old Town to check in a boutique hotel for tonight's stay. Capture the spirits of the old town by rambling on the archaic lanes and venturing into the thriving night life of bar street. 

In the morning, you will have a land transfer by your comfortable private vehicle to Xizhou Old Village, about half an hour's drive from Dali. Arriving at the village early, you could catch a glimpse of the bustling morning market where local minorities come to trade an array of local products, varied from groceries, daily commodities and handicrafts to Tie-dyeing cloth, etc. Even women in traditional costume of Bai minority become an attractive spectacle. 

Besides, Xizhou boasts the most and best-preserved Bai courtyard residences. With chambers on three sides and a decorative screen wall, Bai residence is blessed with exquisite carved beams and curled-up eaves as well as richly painted walls. You will get a chance to visit the local Yan Family Courtyard to have a closer glimpse of the folk culture and architecture art of the Bai Minority. Then a 3 hours' drive takes you to the centuries-old Lijiang Old Town. After check-in, you could enjoy your free time for a leisure exploration of the town on your own. 

Today, you will first travel to the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain that is about 25 km from Lijiang Old Town. As a sacred mountain among Naxi people, the mountain range is made up of 13 peaks, with the highest one at an elevation of 5600 meters. Take the cableway to the Spruce Meadow up to approximate 3240 meters, and you could embrace the fascinating look of the whole snow mountain on the mid-way. After disembarkation, enjoy a leisurely walk in the dense forest to absorb the breathtaking beauty of Spruce Meadow with the snow-capped mountain next to it. Then you will be treated with a breathtaking show Impression of Lijiang to absorb the ethnical singing and dancing at the open-air theater with soaring snow mountains as its backdrop. 

Getting down, pay a visit to the Shuhe Ancient Town, which used to be an essential trading center on the Ancient Tea and Horse Trail. Originated from Tang Dynasty (618—907), the whole village of Shuhe is linked by water channels and bluestone paved lanes, with archaic stores and restaurants as well as inns clustered on both sides.

Next, head for the Baisha Village to absorb the exquisite murals of over five centuries old. The murals enjoy harmonious mix of Han, Tibetan and Naxi cultures, depicting vivid nature sights, such as galloping horse, blooming lotus, forests and birds.
