Upon landing at Lijiang Airport, your local guide will be waiting for you at the arrival lobby, and then transfer you to a comfy hotel to settle your luggage.

After a short break, you will start your classic Lijiang tour with a visit to the Black Dragon Pool Park. Famous for a pond of jade-like water, the park is teeming with age-old towering trees, lush bamboo groves and crystal clear springs.

Take an easeful roaming to immerse in the serene and peaceful escape, and then stroll south to the Dongba Culture Museum in the park. Approaching near, you will find this museum is tactfully designed with a layout of a traditional courtyard of Naxi ethnic minority. The museum reproduces the residences of cave dwelling, folk customs of festival and sacrificial scenes of Naxi people in different eras of history. What's more interesting is that you have a chance to witness the well-preserved inscriptions of pictographs depicting the feeding, hunting and picking activities of ancient Dongba people. 

After breakfast, a private vehicle transfer will chauffeur you to the foot of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, one of the most extraordinary natural stunners in Lijiang. A stunning cable car ride is included for an easier ascending to the Spruce Meadow (Yuan Shan Ping) at an elevation of 3,240 meters. Snaking through the flourishing spruce forest, a vast flat pasture surrounded by mist-shrouded snow peaks would unfold in front, where you may feel getting lost in the chamming alpine landscape of Switzerland. Take a slow wander along the plank walkway to capture a terrific farseeing view of the main peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

After descending, a land transfer will escort you to the Baisha Village to absorb the mural paintings, the most treasured cultural and historic legacy of ancient Naxi group. Admire the exquisite murals dating from Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1912), and uncover the ancient Naxi people’s religious beliefs and primitive lifestyle by the images of Buddhas and vivid scenes of hunting, fishing and weaving.

Then continue the sightseeing to Shuhe Ancient Town, an archaic and peaceful place ideal for a leisurely exploration. Meander the waterfront path to take in the love bridges and quaint courtyards, or grab something to drink at a street side café bar.

At last, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Lijiang.

Today is the last day your classic 3-day Lijiang tour. If your departure flight is scheduled late in the day, your guide will seize the morning to show you a bit of the awesome Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is the deepest and narrowest part of the mighty Yangtze sandwiched by the vigorous Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountains. Overlooking from the viewing deck, you would get humbled by the thundering torrents rushing down to the huge rocks in the river.

After that, board your private van to the airport for your departure flight. Your guide and driver will see you off there, and wish you a nice journey home.
