Upon arrival, you will be met by your English-speaking tour guide and escorted to your hotel for a recovery from the jetlag. The rest of day is free for your own exploration. 

Today, you will first travel to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum after about 1-hour drive. Hold a breath to be overwhelmed by the imperial power and the superb craftsmanship of Qin dynasty, where more than 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers and horses (only 2,000 excavated) stood erect in battle formation who have successfully protected Shihuang Emperor (259-210BC), the first feudal emperor of ancient China, for nearly 2,000 years.

Afterwards, move to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built to store the Buddhism sutras brought back from India by Monk Xuanzang 13,00 years ago.

Then stroll down the bustling Muslim Quarter located in the heart of Xi'an. Stop along the way to sample local delicacies and seek much tranquility as you step into the Islamic Great Mosque featuring in cornice roof, elegant decorations, exquisite courtyards, etc.

Today, you will walk atop the best-preserved City Wall, with a moat peacefully running around. The ancient ground, bricks and exquisite watchtowers make you feel as if travelling back to 600 years ago. Or if you like, hop on a bike (optional) for the splendid views over the old Xi'an to conclude your cultural expeditions.

Then your Xi'an tour ends here and you will take a highspeed train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, your local guide will pick you up and transfer you to Chaotianmen Pier to embark on your luxury cruise ship. Enjoy your leisurely cruise trip!

Spend your day cruising down the Yangtze River with gorge's beauty alongside. On the way, discover the 12-story Shibaozhai Pagoda, 56 meters tall, carved along the cliff face with 500 years history. Walk closer and marvel at the intact wooden construction without any machinery, even the nails. Or step on the top for the marvelous views over the mighty river.

Then return to the cruise and enjoy more leisure time onboard, especially tonight's Captain's Welcome Party to conclude your relaxing day. 

Continue the cruise trip to Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge that enchants you with the most grotesque mountains alongside.

Get expected for a small wooden boat leading to Shennv Stream or Shennong Stream, an unspoiled wonderland dotted with emerald green rivers as well as Karst peaks, which is greatly adorned by photographers worldwide.

Then sail back and conquer the most dangerous Xiling Gorge with the torrents thunderously dashing onto the rocks.

Tonight, the Captain's Farewell Party is awaiting you.

Today, disembark for an excursion to the grandest Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydropower project built to control flood and generate power with total capacity of over 39.3 billion cubic meters (6.43 cubic miles). Snap up-close pictures of the gigantic wonder and if lucky enough, you might be able to see the spectacular scene of flood discharge during the rainy season.

Then roam around the Binjiang Park in nice breezes and savor the slow-paced lifestyle followed by Yichang Museum to gain deep insight of its glorious history dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period (770BC-476BC).

Then your wonderful 6-day tour concludes here and you will be transferred to the airport/railway station for your departure. Wish you a nice journey home!
