Continue to visit Xintiandi (New World of Shanghai) to see Shanghai’s traditional Shikumen constructions.

At last, visit the peaceful Jade Buddha Temple built in 1882, housing the famous Reclining Jade Buddha statue imported from Burma.

Your guide and driver will escort you to the train station for your high-speed train to Beijing and enjoy the countryside view along the journey. You will arrive in Beijing after 5 hours and your guide will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel. You can explore a bit on your own and enjoy a free afternoon in Beijing.

Today, you tour starts with a visit Tiananmen Square and then move to Forbidden City, the largest collection of wooden constructions preserved today. Housing over a million incomparable treasures, it is also known as Palace Museum. As imperial palace for both Ming and Qing Dynasty, Forbidden City witnessed the rise and fall of the two dynasties from the year 1420 to 1912. Marvel at different halls and exquisite architectures of the Palace and travel back into the history of ancient China with your professional guide. Then explore traditional Hutongs where common people used to live.

Take a rickshaw ride into the small alleys to explore ordinary people's houses and local life. Learn to paint a facial mask in the famous Peking Opera and learn the traditional art of Beijing. Bring this memorable souvenir home with you when you finish. Then transfer back to your hotel.

The Forbidden City

Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning, the greatest defensive system built by ancient Chinese. Snaking around on the top of mountains, it successfully stopped nomadic groups and protected central Chinese states and empires. Round-trip Cable Car is included to make your exploration easier and to save more time for you to enjoy some hiking on the wall.

Afterwards, drive back to the city and have a stopover to the iconic Bird's Nest and Water Cube to take some great photos.

Then, drive to the imperial garden Summer Palace and stroll along the peaceful lake, taking in the picturesque scenery of gardens, halls, and pavilions.

The Mutianyu Great Wall

Visit Temple of Heaven in the morning, soak up the beautiful architectures where emperors used to hold ceremonies. Encounter the locals gathering together for morning exercise which is a highlighted scene here. You are more than welcome to join these friendly local people to exercise together.

Afterwards, you will be taken to the railway station to take a 4.5-hour high-speed train to travel to China's another ancient capital Xian. Upon arrival, meet your friendly Xian guide and get back to hotel.

Temple of Heaven

About 1-hour drive from the downtown area, you will get to Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. ‘Incredible’ is the most frequently used word to describe the underground army after seeing the vividly made clay figures owning distinctive facial expressions, hair styles, figures as well as uniforms, to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

Then drive back to the city to visit the largest and best-preserved City Wall and have an overview of this old capital. Follow your guide to take a stroll on top and shoot some photos of the great architecture from the best angle or cycle around a bit based on your preference.

Afterwards, drive to the famous local Muslim Quarter and the ancient Great Mosque built in traditional Chinese style and enjoy some free time in the famous bazaar.

Approach to the famous Small Wild Goose Pagoda built in 8th century and learn its architectural miracle.

Then move to Xi'an Museum and unveil the earlier history of China before 13th century from the treasures stored here.

On the way to the airport, visit Hanyang Tombs (Hanyangling Mausoleum), tomb of Emperor Jingdi. Marvel atop a glass walkway and appreciate the miniatures of terra-cotta figures of maids, eunuchs, animals and tools and learn the stories of grand Han Dynasty.

Afterwards, fly to Guilin. Your local guide will warmly greet you once you arrive and then take you to hotel for a good rest.

This morning, you will take a 4-hour cruise on Li River to get to Yangshuo. Along the way, you will see various grotesque karst hills and probably water buffalos showering or wandering in shallow water. 

Upon arrival in Yangshuo, bike around the rural village with your guide and absorb the fascinating view. Then, drive back to Guilin hotel after the trip.  

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill, which was naturally shaped like an elephant drinking water at the bank of Li River.

Then drive to Reed Flute Cave. Venture into the cave and be amazed by the numbers and shapes of stalactite with different-colored lights decorated.

Your tour in this astonishing natural scenic city ends here and you will take high speed train to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and then take you to hotel.

You will visit Victoria Peak to absorb the fascinating view of Hongkong Island, Stanley Market and Aberdeen Fishing Village to see the fishermen's life, a contrast to Hong Kong's modern atmosphere, where you can take an optional Sampan Ride to get closer to experience the fishermen's life.
