Welcome to China! Upon arrival, you are greeted by your guide at the exit and then taken to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 2
Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Take a rickshaw ride in Hutongs. Paint a Peking Opera facial mask at a traditional courtyard.
Breakfast

Morning tour starts from admiring the most iconic construction of Beijing, Tiananmen Square. Lingere for a while to take some photos, and then stroll to the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage featuring as 24 emperors' imperial palace dating back to 1420. Follow your guide to discover more palaces and halls and appreciate those unrivalled buildings. Savor the priceless antiques and relics on display, and get insights into their supreme artistry and the anecdotes of the past.

Then embark on a rickshaw ride diving into the interwoven hutong alleys to explore common people's residences and customs, which have been dwelled for generations since 700 years ago. At a courtyard here, you'll learn to paint a facial mask of the Peking Opera, which could be a lovely souvenir to bring home. Afterwards, head back to your hotel and relax for a free night.

Day 3
Beijing
Hike on the Mutianyu Great Wall. Make a photo stop at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Wander in the Summer Palace.
Breakfast

Begin your day with a visit to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a less crowed and best-preserved section of the Great Wall. Take a round-trip cable car, so that you'll have more time to hike on this "colossal dragon" along mountaintops and to enjoy the marvelous scenery.

On your way back, make a stopover to take great photos of the landmarks of 2008 Olympics -- Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Then you'll get to the 290-hectare Summer Palace, the most quintessential imperial garden in China. Stroll at leisure in this harmonious world abounding with delicate natural landscape and architectural masterpieces.

Day 4
Beijing-Xi'an by Highspeed Train
Pay tribute to the Temple of Heaven and join morning activities with local people. Hop aboard a highspeed train to Xi'an.

Early in the morning, ramble around the peculiar buildings in the Temple of Heaven, where emperors used to worship heaven and pray for harvest. It is also a park highlighted by the locals practicing Tai Chi, diabolo, singing opera, etc. and you are more than welcome to join them.

After the exercise, you will be escorted to the high-speed railway station for a 4.5-hour ride to Xi'an. When you arrive, meet your local guide and ride to the hotel.

Day 5
Xi'an
Admire the Terra-cotta Army. Walk on the City Wall. Visit the Great Mosque and enjoy free time in the Muslim Quarter.
Breakfast

Today, the first site awaiting you is the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, a large number of life-sized clay army buried with Qinshihuang, the First Emperor of Qin. Spot the differences among them in faces, hairstyles and uniforms, appreciate the supreme craftsmanship and learn about the unsolved mysteries on pigment, bronze sword, etc.

Then drive back to the city and ascend the City Wall, the largest and best preserved Chinese city fortifications. You could choose to walk or cycle on the rectangular wall to enjoy the panoramic scenery and snap photos from the best angles.

At last, visit the Great Mosque characterized by Chinese-Islamic style. And enjoy yourself in the bustling Muslim Quarter discovering your favorite snacks and handiwork.

Day 6
Xi'an-Hangzhou by Flight
Admire the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an Museum and Hanyang Tombs. Then fly to Hangzhou.
Breakfast

Start your exploration with a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and admire its architectural miracle.

Continue to visit the Xi'an Museum and unveil the history from the 13th century ago.

On your way to the airport, call at the Hanyang Tombs (Hanyangling Mausoleum) to uncover the daily life of Emperor Jingdi of Han Dynasty as you ramble atop the glass walkways looking down at the numerous vivid maids, ministers, animals, living goods and other clay figures.

Then fly to Hangzhou and meet your local guide.

Day 7
Hangzhou
Learn about the tea culture in Meijiawu Tea Village. Admire Buddhist grottoes carved in Feilai Peak. Roam in the tranquil Lingyin Temple.
Breakfast

Ride to Meijiawu Tea Village and call at a farmhouse of a national tea specialist. Follow our tea specialist to wander around the tea plantations, and learn how to pick pea leaves and stir-fry tea. Then immerse yourself in the graceful tea ceremony and get to know the traditional way of making and tasting tea.

Continue your sightseeing with a cruise on the West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Savor the landscape that designed with the wisdom of humans & nature coexistence and get to know China's top two romance stories, namely the Butterfly Lovers and Madame White Snake.

On your walking tour towards the Lingyin Temple, you will first be surprised by hundreds of fantastic Buddhist grottoes carved in Feilai Peak. Then reach the temple, which literally means the Temple of the Soul's Retreat, and you'll stand in awe of the imperatorial Buddhas and Arhats.

Day 8
Hangzhou-Shanghai by High Speed Train
Visit the Six-Harmony Pagoda. Ramble in the Southern Song Imperial Street.
Breakfast

Today, visit the city's landmark attraction, the Six-Harmony Pagoda built on a hill by the Qiantang River. Appreciate the vivid tile carvings and learn about the architectural mystery as you step towards the top, where you could enjoy a stunning bird's eye view of the water surface of the river and the cityscape.

Continue to ramble in the Southern Song Imperial Street, exploring the local specialties, architectures and folklore.

Afterwards, take a high-speed train for about 1 hour to Shanghai.

Day 9
Shanghai
Refresh yourself in the Yu Garden. Stroll along Nanjing Road and the Bund. Overlook Shanghai atop the Shanghai World Financial Center. Visit Xintiandi and finish your tour at the Jade Buddha Temple.
Breakfast

In the morning, go for a walk in Yuyuan Garden to savor the refreshing landscape and explore the exquisite halls and chambers.

Next, stroll along the bustling Nanjing Road to the Bund, where you'll be stunned by the classical and revival buildings in greatly different types.

Then reach the top of the 492-meter-high Shanghai World Financial Center to overlook the metropolis.

Continue to visit Xintiandi (New World of Shanghai) for a sight of the intertwined multicultural constructions designed in old or fashion styles.

At last, roam in the peaceful Jade Buddha Temple, known for the Reclining Jade Buddha statue brought from Burma in the late 19th century.

Day 10
Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai
Explore the Master of the Nets Garden. Roam in Tongli Water Town (an operational boat-cruise included).
Breakfast

After a comfortable ride to Suzhou, enjoy your full-day poetic trip combining the classic garden and water town.

First, explore the Master of Nets Garden. It is the smallest but the most elegant landscape garden in Suzhou, which successfully illustrates the balance between residential quarter and natural beauty in miniature. As you roam around the delicate ponds, gardens, halls and pavilions, you would be amazed at the designer's brilliance.

Then pay a visit to the Tongli Water Town that is over 1,000 years old. By the crisscrossing water canals stand a number of well-preserved stone bridges, private gardens, mansions, temples and celebrities' former residences. An optional boat-cruise along the waterways is a perfect way to unveil the moving idyllic scenery.

Return to Shanghai and have a good night.

Depart from Shanghai
Farewell to China! Transfer to the airport and have a nice journey home!
