On your arrival in Luoyang, your local guide and driver will be waiting for you at the railway station/airport, holding a signboard with your name. Then you will be escorted to your hotel in downtown by a private vehicle. 

The rest of the day is at leisure. You can either have a good rest in the hotel or visit some sites within the city, such as Lijing Gate, Shizi Food Street and some historical museums. 

In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, and then transfer you to the most glamorous gem of Luoyang, Longmen Grottoes. First carved in 493AD of Northern Wei Dynasty, Longmen Grottoes is an awe-inspiring art gallery of over 1km along west side of Yi River, housing more than 2,300 caves and over one hundred thousand Buddhist sculptures. Stroll along the riverside trails, and pay a pilgrimage to Vairocana Buddha, the biggest and tallest Buddha statue with a remarkable height of 17.14 meters. 

After that, board your van for a transfer to the White Horse Temple. Built in 68 AD, it was the first temple funded by the government since Buddhism was introduced into China. You can not only admire the traditional Chinese palace and pagoda architectures, but also have a chance to witness many temples in styles of foreign countries like Thailand and Myanmar. 

Then you will embark on a vehicle ride to a martial arts school in Dengfeng, and spend one hour there learning some basic moves of Chinese Kung Fu. Later, you will be helped to check into a hotel.

After breakfast, head for the Shaolin Temple. Built in 459 AD, it was exactly the place where Dharma firstly established the Zen of Buddhism after a nine-year meditation. Wandering through the temple, you would get lost in the calm, tranquil and holy ambience made up of the red palace halls, centuries-old tress and the historical stone tablets. You will have a deeper understanding about the profound history of the temple by visiting the Forest of Pagodas where hundreds of eminent monks rested in peace for generations. 

Then your spirit would be greatly livened up by a classic Shaolin Kung Fu Show. Fix your eyes on the monks’ electrifying stunts including boxing, cudgel play, spear and qigong. You will be amazed at the ultimate strength of the human body. At the end, you will be escorted to the Luoyang Airport or railway station for your departure.
