Welcome to Inner Mongolia! Upon your arrival at Hailar Airport, your local guide and driver will meet you and then escort you to the hotel in downtown by a comfortable private vehicle. No sightseeing will be arranged today. If arriving early, you could either have a good rest in the hotel or explore the neighborhood on your own.

After a big breakfast, you will be transferred to the Western Hill Forest Park that is famous for the rare plants, the evergreen Pinus sylvestris. There are plank walks for you to go deeper into the woodland.

Next, hop on your private vehicle for a ride to the captivating Hulunbeir Grasslands. On arrival, you will be greeted by a grand ceremony of wine toast by local Mongolians as a special way to welcome their visitors. Then enjoy your leisure time by a stroll or a horse ride (your own expenses) to absorb the enchanting steppe scenery. You could also join in an optional religious ritual of Mongolians by visiting their Obo stone heaps used for praying. Another big plus of Hulunbeir Prairie is the Morigele River that meanders through the grassland, where you could admire its spectacular twists and turns. 

Tonight, you will have a dreamy overnight stay in a traditional Mogolian Yurt.

After catching the amazing sunrise on the prairie, you will embark on a land transfer to Erguna, a stunning wetland and nature reserve. Lovely rivers wriggles through the marshy grasslands, while migrate birds are straying in the shoals. 

Continue your adventure to the Aoluguya Ewenki Ethnic Town hidden in the Great Khingan Mountains. The town is the home of China’s last hunting tribe and also the only place where reindeer are raised. You will enjoy a chance to visit one of the hunters’ house to learn about the tribe culture. 

At last, check in at your hotel in Genhe City. 

After breakfast, you will have a morning excursion deep into the largest virgin forest in China, Moerdaoga. It is a natural wonderland of coniferous forest, gurgling rivers and diverse wildlife. The forest is especially spectacular in autumn when the trees take on red and yellow hues. Roaming the woods, you could indulge yourself in the natural oxygen bar and even trace the wild creatures like squirrels in the forest.

Afterwards, your guide and driver will transfer you to another exotic town named Shiwei. Facing Russia across the Erguna River, it is a famous settlement of Chinese-Russian descendants. The locals still retain their Russian living style and cultural customs. 

Tonight, you will stay in a Mulengke house, a traditional Russian style log cabin.

In the morning, you are going to visit China’s fifth largest freshwater lake, Hulun Lake. It is a great delight to pace along the long shore to take in the infinite lake scenery. An optional boat ride is also a popular way to relax yourself in the soft lake breeze. 

After that, head to downtown Manzhouli and drop by the Matryoshka Square to see the world’s largest Russian dolls. Around the square are scattered arrays of Russian-style architectures, where you could snap a lot of awesome shots.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head for the first stop of today’s sightseeing, Zhalainuoer Museum. It is the largest museum in Hulunbeir where you could see a rarely giant fossil of mammoth, discover the history of Xianbei nationality and learn about coal mining culture. 

Afterwards, walk to the famous Mammoth Park to have a close-up of the awe-inspiring sculptures of extinct mammoth and other paleontology like saber-toothed tiger and megaloceros. There you could not only take a lot of memorable photos, but also enjoy a lot of amusement facilities such as bumper car and Merry-Go-Round. At the end of the tour, you will be chauffeured to the airport for your departure flight
