You will be picked up from the designated hotels and transferred to Central Ferry Piers that take you from Hong Kong Island to Mui Wo, a rural town in Lantau Island. Exact picking up time will be emailed to you 1-2 days ahead of the tour.

Start your relaxing tour in Lantau Island by visiting the longest beach in Hong Kong- Cheung Sha Beach where you may enjoy the purest natural beauty alongside the shoreline. Then move to the native Tai O Fishing Village, the hub of fishermen for generations that keep the original flavor of Hong Kong. Traditional stilt houses still stand right up on the river and stalls selling various seafood always line up the narrow lanes. You may take a leisure walk and experience the tranquil lifestyle of the local residents.

After that, drive to Ngong Ping Plateau and visit the most popular Buddhist temple in Hong Kong- Po Lin Monastery erected in 1924. Walk through the spiritual Bodhi road into the monastery and be embraced by the quite transcendent atmosphere inside. Then walk to Giant Buddha, adjacent to Po Lin Monastery. On the top of altar sits a sacred immense bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, 34 meters (112 feet) in height and 250 metric tons in weight. Climb 268 stone stairs to take a closer look at the solemn Giant Buddha and immerse yourself in the holy land of Buddhism. 

Continue your tour with a visit to Ngong Ping Village whose streets are lined with quaint stores selling various Chinese exquisite souvenirs, snacks as well as other stuff. Relax aside and then enjoy a Chinese vegetarian lunch nearby.

Your wonderful exploration concludes with an exciting Ngong Ping 360 cable car back to Tung Chung, allowing you to fully enjoy the spectacular panoramic views surrounding you. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
