Your Hong Kong tour guide and driver will pick you up from hotel and head for the railway station. You will take a high speed train to Guilin. Your local guide will greet you and escort you to hotel. Wander the city on your own and experience its peace and beauty surrounded by the picturesque karst hills.

This morning, you will take a 4-hour cruise on Li River to get to Yangshuo. Along the way, you will see various grotesque karst hills and probably water buffalos showering or wandering in shallow water.

Upon arrival in Yangshuo, bike around the rural village with your guide and absorb the fascinating view.

Night activity: The famous cultural show Impression Liusanjie performed with natural mountain and river as stage is recommended for a wonderful night.

This morning, you will be escorted to the stunning Reed Flute Cave. Follow your guide and walk through the magnificent cave where numerous stalactites popping out, forming a great scene. Challenge your imagination and check out what they look like.

Then travel to Guilin's landmark Elephant Trunk Hill, a naturally formed mountain in the shape of an elephant drinking water in Li River.

Afterwards, catch your flight to Chengdu and your Chengdu guide will warmly greet you at airport and then take you to hotel for a good rest. 

In the morning, drive to the Chengdu Research and Breeding Center of Giant Panda to have a romantic encounter with the Chinese star mammals. Morning is the best time to visit the wonderland, as giant pandas are most active with their outdoor activities, such as playing on the treetop, nibbling bamboo shoots and taking naps under the shelters. By the fence of their enclosures, you could snap up-close pictures of adorable sub-adult pandas, and if lucky enough you could even seize the chance to see the pink new born babies in their incubators during the breeding season.

Then move to Jinli Old Street to enjoy a feast of local snacks and handpick some craftworks.

Afterwards, make your way to the Wangjiang Park to sense the most authentic leisure life of Chengdu by enjoying a cup of tea, trying the ear cleaning & massage, and learning Chinese Mahjong.

Proceed to admire the stunning Leshan Giant Buddha with a history of over 1,200 years for about 2-hour driving. Carved into the steer cliff, the solemn Giant Buddha sits in the heights of 71 meters with his head reaching to the top of mountains and his feet stretching into the bank of river. Climb all the way up the hillside through the narrow stone staircases to appreciate the colossal statue at close proximity. Feel awe for the largest stone of Maitreya Buddha in the world whose feet can accommodate over a hundred of people at one time as you descend from the steer zigzagged plank from the left. Then enjoy a boat cruise to be enthralled by the spectacular panoramic view of the majestic Buddha.

After the tour, take high speed train to Xi'an and your friendly guide will hold your name board and wait for you at the exit of the railway station.

About 1-hour drive from the downtown area, you will get to Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. ‘Incredible’ is the most frequently used word to describe the underground army after seeing the vividly made clay figures owning distinctive facial expressions, hair styles, figures as well as uniforms, to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

Then drive back to the city to visit the largest and best-preserved City Wall and have an overview of this old capital. Follow your guide to take a stroll on top and shoot some photos of the great architecture from the best angle or cycle around a bit based on your preference.

Afterwards, drive to the famous local Muslim Quarter and the ancient Great Mosque built in traditional Chinese style and enjoy some free time in the famous bazaar.

After breakfast, approach to the famous Small Wild Goose Pagoda built in 8th century and learn its architectural miracle.

Then move to Xi'an Museum and unveil the earlier history of China before 13th century from the treasures stored here.

Afterwards, take the high-speed train to Beijing and get ready to see China's capital.

After a night's sound sleep, get refreshed for today's exploration. First, visit Tiananmen Square and then move to Forbidden City, the largest collection of wooden constructions preserved today. Housing over a million incomparable treasures, it is also known as Palace Museum. As imperial palace for both Ming and Qing Dynasty, Forbidden City witnessed the rises and falls of the two dynasties from the year 1420 to 1912. Walking through different halls and exquisite architectures of the Palace, travel back into the history of ancient China with your professional guide.  

Then get into traditional Hutongs where common people used to live. Take a rickshaw ride into the small alleys to explore ordinary people's houses and local life. Learn to paint a facial mask in the famous Peking Opera and learn the traditional art of Beijing. Bring this memorable souvenir home with you when you finish. Then transfer back to your hotel.

Today, your tour will begin with Mutianyu Great Wall, the less crowded part of the greatest defensive system built by ancient Chinese. Snaking around on top of the mountains for over 13,000 miles, it successfully stopped nomadic groups' invasion and protected central Chinese states and empires. Round-trip Cable Car is included to make your exploration easier and to save more time for your hike on the wall.

Afterwards, drive back to the city and have a stopover to the iconic Bird's Nest and Water Cube to take some great photos.

Then, drive to the imperial garden Summer Palace. Stroll along the peaceful lake, taking in the picturesque scenery of gardens, halls, pavilions and get amazed by the scale of the Imperial Garden.

Visit Temple of Heaven in the morning. Soak up the beautiful architectures where emperors used to hold ceremonies praying for good harvest and peace for the whole nation. Encounter the locals gathering here for morning exercise and you are more than welcome to join these friendly local people to exercise together.

Afterwards, you will be taken to the railway station to take a 5-hour high-speed train to travel to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your guide and get back to hotel.

Start today's tour with a visit to Yu Garden and enjoy the beautiful layout which also presents the philosophy of Chinese people's life.

Then head to Nanjing Road and the Bund which is granted World Architecture Museum.

Get on top of Shanghai World Financial Center to get a bird view of Shanghai, which may change your impression of China.

Continue to visit Xintiandi (New World of Shanghai) to see Shanghai's traditional Shikumen constructions.

At last, end your day in the tranquil Jade Buddha Temple built in 1882, housing the famous Reclining Jade Buddha imported from Burma. Then get back to your hotel.
