Your colorful ethnic minority exploration starts with a drive to the Langde Miao Village, where women are dressed in their traditional long dresses. At the very first Miao village you visit, their traditional welcome ceremony would definitely offer you the most authentic Miao experience by the twelve courses of "block-the-way" rice wine and inspiring folk songs as well as a firecrackers celebration.

After that, make your way to the Paika Miao Village, a well-known place for producing Lusheng (Lusheng, a folk musical instrument made by reed and bamboo peculiar to Miao and Dong people). Today, continue your Kaili adventure to Shiqiao Miao Village. One of the big highlights of the village is their well-preserved traditional way of paper making that could be dated back to Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). You are offered a rare chance to see how local people use tree barks to make papers with patterns. Meanwhile, a number of stilt wooden residences are preserved in good condition, where you could get insights into local people's primitive and slow-paced life.

Then head for Qingman Miao Village famous for clothes weaving and embroidery. Girls usually start to learn weaving and embroidery from their childhood to make exquisite traditional ethnic costumes. In the morning, you will be driven to Tianlong Tunpu to have a special back-in-time travel experience. Tianlong Tunpu is one of the dwelling places for dependents of troops from Ming Dynasty, where local people has been maintaining their traditional folk customs and secluded lifestyle the same as hundreds of years ago. As an old clan of Han people, they wear loose robes with long patterned sleeves, with hair worn in buns. They are particularly good at making embroidered cloth shoes that look exquisite and trendy. Since the village used to be a troop stationed post, you could discover an array of fortified stone houses for defensive purpose. 

In the afternoon, you would be transferred to the Huangguoshu Waterfall to absorb its magnificence. Blessed with mighty karst topography, Huangguoshu Waterfall in Anshun enjoys a dramatic height of 74 meters and width of 81 meters. The water torrent rolls thunderously down with awful roars that could get every viewer humbled in front of its unbeatable vigor. You could not only trek for a circle to have an overview of the waterfall, but also get a chance to snake through the Water-Curtain Cave behind the fall for a close gazing. A day full of natural wonder sightseeing is awaited. After breakfast, you would be escorted to the Xifenglin, the most visited western part of the vast Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks).
