Day 1
Guilin Arrival
Airport pickup and hotel transfer. Free exploration of the neighborhood.
Luxury: Sheraton Guilin Hotel
Superior: Lijiang Waterfall Hotel
Welcome to Guilin! When you arrive at the airport or railway station, you will be picked up by your guide holding a name sign at the exit. After reaching the hotel, your guide will help you check in. Please have a good rest to explore the city the next day.
Day 2
Guilin-Yangshuo
Cruise the Li River. Bike around the rural villages of Yangshuo.
In the morning, you are accompanied by your guide to embark on the Li River cruise. When the ship sails, you will be overwhelmed by an 'immensely long scroll painting'. Countless misty karst hills rise sheer from the emerald water, some like horses standing stiff-backed, some like graceful ladies in a bathing pool, and they all count on you to imagine. You may also encounter a herd of buffalo frolic not far away, or fishermen toiling with their cormorants. The journey lasts about 4 hours until you get to Yangshuo.
Disembark and bike around the rural villages in Yangshuo. Feel the plain and unadorned pastoral life, and enjoy the serenity in this peaceful world with traditional houses interspersed among trees, vast green fields, rustic villagers, etc. After the journey, you are escorted to your hotel in Guilin.

Day 3
Guilin Departure
Visit the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill.
Follow your guide to Reed Flute Cave -- the palace of natural arts. When exploring into the cave, you are immediately dazzled by the geological wonder: a myriad of monstrous stalagmites, stalactites and other stones alike are shining different colors. Give rein to your imagination when you walk through the cave and watch them in details. On some parts of the walls are shown ancient travel notes that have been preserved since over 1,000 years ago. You could try to seek them out.
After the exploration, you will go to Elephant Trunk Hill, noted as the symbol of Guilin landscape. As you draw near the hill, you will find that it looks like a huge, lovely elephant with his long nose immersed in water. And the big hole between the nose and the body looks just like a moon floating on the river. Enjoy your free time watching it and take some beautiful photos.
Your wonderful journey comes to an end, and you will be taken to the airport or rail station for your departure.
