Welcome to Guangzhou! Upon arrival the airport or railway station, your local guide and driver will pick you up timely, and then escort you to your hotel in downtown. If you arrive early, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own since the metro transportation is quite convenient in the city.

After breakfast, unveil Guangzhou from the most-visited attractions in downtown. Firstly, your guide will take you to visit the Ancestral Temple of Chen Family. It is a well-preserved traditional Chinese architecture complex dating back to Qing Dynasty. Served as the ancestral temple for the big clans of Chen, the massive cluster of rooms and chambers are blessed with exquisite stone carvings and wood sculptures. 

Then head for the Memorial Hall of Sun Yat-sen nestled by the foot of Yuxiu Park. Built to commemorate the revolution leader Sun Yat-sen, the memorial hall is a splendid structure absorbing both traditional Chinese and western architecture styles.

Afterwards, pay a visit to the 1,400-year-old Liurong Temple. Also known as Six-Banyan Temple, the monastery houses 6 centuries-old banyan trees and magnificent Buddhist Pagoda. It would be a delight for you to take a relaxing stroll inside to inhale the calm ambience.

Proceed to the Tomb of the Nanyue King that dates back to 2,000 years ago. On the original site of the tomb, a museum is established where you can have a glance at the rich funerary artifacts, especially the garment made of 2,291 jade pieces and the porcelain pillows. 

Today’s tour would be concluded by a Pearl River night cruise. On board, you will fully capture the city’s dynamic vibe and glitzy skyline as well as amazing images of Canton Tower.

After breakfast, you will launch a morning excursion to the pleasant Shamian Island. The island used to be a concession of Britain and France, so you could see a lot of elegant European architectures. It is quite enjoyable to roam along the planetree-shaded lanes or sip a cup of coffee in one of the street side bar. 

Then you will proceed to the landmark of the city, Canton Tower. With a remarkable height of 600 meters, it is the highest TV tower in Asia. Also known as Slim Waist, Canton Tower is an architectural marvel that could be better appreciated at the distance. 

After that, you will be led to the Beijing Road. It is one of the most buzzing commercial street in Guangzhou where you will find arrays of shops for clothes and restaurants for local gourmets.
