Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your professional English-speaking tour guide holding a welcome sign with your name and be escorted to the hotel by your air-conditioned private car. Then the rest of day will be left and on you to relax and you may stroll around to experience the lifestyle of Chengdu.

You will be driven to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Pandas Breeding first. Upon arrival, feast your eyes on the cuddly black and white giant pandas who nibble bamboos, climb the trees or snooze on the grass as you walk through a vast bamboo groves. Seize the opportunity to have a good time with those cute panda cubs and naughty red pandas and then capture every fun moment of them as they play in the villas. Besides, you might be able to see the delicate newborns kept in the incubators if you are lucky enough (Mostly during August to October which is their reproduction period). Enrich your knowledge of the habitant and statues quo of giant pandas by visiting the Panda-themed Museum before the departure.

After an enjoyable encounter with the lovable Giant Pandas, move to the lively Jinli Old Street teemed with archaic buildings on both sides. Various local snacks, exquisite Chinese handicrafts, store-owners' hawking and folk handicrafts along the way will greatly impress you and deepen your impressions of the traditional side of Chengdu. You could have lunch here and your guide will recommend the best place.

Afterwards, head straight to enjoy a leisure life pace in the Wangjiang Pavilion Park where the locals hang out. Strolling in the park, with bamboo groves surrounding, birds singing, soft music lingering and the locals chatting, you will indulge in the beauties of local's leisure life. Then stop for a cup of tea along the riverside to savor the sense of the authentic Chengdu, which is a perfect end of today's discovery.

In the morning, enjoy the idyllic scenery on the way to the 1200-year-old Leshan Giant Buddha for about 2-hour driving. Once you arrive, you will be impressed by the magnificence of the grand Buddha carved out of the precipitous cliff. Climb all the way up the hillside to Buddha's head part to marvel at the masterpiece of Buddhist culture up close. Then admire the grandeur of the colossal stone Buddha with a height of 71 meters (233 feet) from the bottom as you descend from the narrow zigzagged staircases built along the precipitous mountains. Finally, catch a clear panoramic sight of the majestic Giant Buddha by a relaxing boat cruise and admire the grandeur of the Giant Buddha right next to him. Have some lunch here before the 2-hour drive back to Chengdu and your guide will give you some authentic recommendations.

Your enjoyable trip concludes and farewell to Chengdu. You will be escorted to the airport/railway station for your departure by your guide and driver.
