You will be met at the arrival hall of the airport/train station by your professional English-speaking tour guide holding a welcome sign with your name and be escorted to the hotel by your private air-conditioned car. Then the rest of the day will be left on you to get the first glimpse at the vibrant city.

In the morning, you will be escorted to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Once you arrive, the daily life of these chubby star mammals who climb trees, nibble bamboos, tumble or snooze in the gardens will greatly catch your eyes as you wander through an abundance of bamboo groves along the path from one enclosure to another. Visit the Sunlight Nursery Room and Moonlight Nursery Room then move to the Red Panda Area. Enjoy your time seeing the lovable panda cubs having fun in their kindergarten and the naughty red ones running around. Don't miss the best shots recording these memorable moments with your camera. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to see the delicate newborns kept in the incubators (Mostly during August to October which is their reproduction period). Continue to gain insights into the habitant and status quo of the endangered species by visiting the Panda Museum before the departure. 

Lunch will be recommended by your guides according to your preferences. Then head to the bustling Jinli Old Street with antique buildings on both sides where you are able to appreciate the folk handicrafts, panda themed souvenirs and sample some authentic local snacks you'd like to try along the way.

Afterwards, continue to tour around the picturesque Wangjiang Pavilion Park where you will enjoy encounters with the locals gathering here for exercises, mahjong or Chinese chess. Join the hospitable locals to experience their relaxed lifestyle or sit for a chat over a cup of tea as the locals do to appreciate the soul of Chengdu.
