Upon arrival, your will be greeted by your tour guide holding a name sign at the airport/railway station and transferred to your hotel. Then enjoy a free day and explore a bit on your own.

Today, take a trip to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding for an up-close encounter with the Chinese star mammals, where more than 100 giant pandas are well taken care of. Your hearts would be stolen away as you meet some cuddly adult pandas who nibble bamboo shoots, playing or taking naps on the grasslands blessed with bamboo groves. Continue to be amazed by those lovable panda cubs running around and naughty red ones playing on the treetops. Seize a rare chance to see the little pink newborns kept in incubators if you visit during the breeding season (Aug-Oct).

Afterwards, get ready to conquer the UNESCO site Leshan Giant Buddha, with its impressive 71-meters (233 ft) height after a 2-hours' drive. Climb all the way up to marvel at the world's largest Maitreya Buddha up close and continue to be astonished by the steep staircases zigzagging their way down to Buddha's feet.

Then conclude your Buddhism expedition with a boat cruise to capture the most spectacular panoramic view of the Giant Buddha. Afterwards, sit back and travel back to the bustling Chengdu for a good rest.

Start your morning like the locals by a leisure walk at Jinli Street for a perfect gourmet experience, with local delicacies, restaurants and traditional tea houses scattering throughout the most visited foodie's paradise.

Then soak in the slow-paced Wangjiang Park where the locals are gathering here for morning exercises. You are more than welcome to join them or savor the unique taste of Chengdu over a cup of tea or an ear-cleaning service along the walkways with bamboo groves embraced by.

Afterwards, travel to Chongqing by a high speed train and get expected for your luxury Yangtze River Cruise. 

Once you arrive, you will be picked up by your friendly tour guide holding a name sign at the exit of train station. Then relax yourself as you head to Chaotianmen Pier for a leisurely Cruise down the mighty Yangtze River. 

Sailing along Yangtze River, a leisurely cruise takes you deep into the most splendid Three Gorges and on the way, embark on a shore excursion to Shibaozhai, a 12-storey pagoda survived itself along the steep mountain for over 500 years thanks to its amazing wooden construction and wonderful design. Stand atop to overlook the mighty river with marvelous rocks stretching out and torrential waters rushing down.

Then spend more leisure time onboard and get expected for the Captain's Welcome Party tonight. 

Wake up earlier and get refreshed for the Gorge's beauty as the Cruise winds its way through the peaceful river and towering mountains varied in shapes. Enjoy more tranquility as you delve into the primitive Shennv Stream or Shennong Stream by a small wooden boat ride where emerald green streams with the backdrop against marvelous peaks give you a feeling of being in a wonderland.

Then sail back and venture into the most dangerous Xiling Gorge with roaring torrents, steer cliffs, rugged rocks and twisted courses surrounded by.

Spend a wonderful night in the Captain's Farewell Party to conclude your day.

After breakfast, disembark at Maoping Pier and wonder at Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydropower project with total capacity of over 39.3 billion cubic meters (6.43 cubic miles). Its successful control of water has greatly alleviated the flood in summer.

Then enjoy a promenade along the willow-lined Binjiang Park to soak up the graceful Yangtze River and delve into Yichang Museum for a glimpse of its glorious past with more than 30,000 historic relics. Farewell!
