Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your friendly tour guide holding a name sign at the airport/railway station and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration. 

Set out for a memorable pandas' discovery in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding first after 40-minutes' drive. Get close to panda villas to see some adorable adult pandas eating, playing or sleeping soundly on the grasslands with lush bamboo groves surrounded by. Then enjoy your time seeing the most adorable panda cubs amusing themselves in Panda Kindergarten and the naughty red pandas like little coatis having fun on the treetops. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to see some delicate newborns kept in the incubators during pandas' breeding season from August to October. Afterwards, you will visit the Panda Museum to learn about the Pandas' fun facts before your departure.

Then take in the most visited foodie's paradise, the bustling Jinli Old Street teemed with restaurants, tea houses and local delicacies for a true taste of Chengdu followed by a peaceful promenade at the Wangjiang Park to enjoy encounters with the friendly locals and their leisure lifestyle. You may sit down and have a cup of tea at a typical local outdoor tea house in the unique Chengdu way to conclude the wonderful day.

This morning, you will embark on a 2 hours' drive to sight-see the magnificent Leshan Giant Buddha dating back to 1,200 years. Hold a breath to be overwhelmed by the world's largest Maitreya Buddha carved along the precipitous cliff with a height of 71 meters once you arrive. Climb all the way up to savor the profound Buddhist culture, with a chance to feel awe for the Buddha up close. Continue to be challenged by the narrow and steer plank zigzagging its way down to the Buddha's feet from the right. Afterwards, get your cameras ready to capture the most splendid overview of Giant Buddha within a few minutes on a boat cruise.

Then sit back and head to the UNESCO site Mt. Emei and stay overnight at the mountain foot.

Take a full day exploring the spectacular Mount Emei, one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China. Hop on a shuttle bus bound for Leidongping Station and on the way, be indulged in the verdant fairyland boasting the most incredible and unspoiled views.

Enjoy an exciting cable car ride up to 3,077 meters (10,095 ft) where the glaring Golden Summit amazes you with the world's tallest golden Buddha of Samantabhadra treasured in the Huazang Temple. Stand atop to overlook a sea of changing clouds and be embraced by the grandeur and elegance of the holy land.

Then descend the mountain and relax yourself as you travel back to the glamorous Chengdu. 

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to the laid-back Chengdu and you will be transferred to the airport/railway station. Wish you a pleasant journey home!
