Day 1
Arrival in Beijing, the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City
Wander about the iconic Tiananmen Square and marvel at the Forbidden City, an architecture masterpiece.

Your private guide will greet you at the arrival hall and transfer you directly to the Tiananmen Square on a comfy vehicle.
Note: You are suggested to arrive in Beijing before 13:00 to ensure you have sufficient time to explore the awe-inspiring Forbidden City. If you arrive much earlier and would like to explore more, please feel free to contact our consultant to tailor make a trip of your own.
Standing on the largest square in the world, you will be impressed with the luxurious halls and imposing monuments. To its east stands National Museum of China and to the west sits the Great Hall of the People. Walk through the square and you will get to Forbbiden City. Known as Palace Museum, Forbidden City is the largest imperial palace complex in the world. As imperial residence for 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties (1420-1912), it boasts epic collection of artworks and majestic engineering architectures. Stroll through the prestigious palaces and hear the turbulent yet rich past from your expert guide.
After sweeping exploration, sit back in your comfy vehicle and you will be transferred back to the hotel.
Tips:
Nightlife in Beijing is very diverse and colorful. You can go to Houhai or Sanlitun (The Village) to have a fun night in the local clubs and bars. Wangfujing Street is popular for shopping and its snack street. Make sure you have a sound sleep for an exciting second day is awaiting you!

The Great Wall, Summer Palace and Departure
Hike the Mutianyu Great Wall with round-trip cable car, and sight-see an imperial garden, the Summer Palace.
Get ready to enjoy today's discovery after a night's sleep and refreshment. Your guide will pick you up after you have a savory breakfast then you will be transferred to Mutianyu Great Wall.
The Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall is the best-preserved part of this majestic fortification. As a less tourist-trodden section, it is ideal for hiking. Round-trip cable car is included, so you will enjoy more time hiking. Begin your gradual ascent to the top of the wall and take in the picturesque scenery. Marvel at the magnificent monument snaking along the verdurous mountains and observe the intriguing parapets and watchtowers.
After the Great Wall adventure, our guide will escort you to return to the bustling city and head directly to the Summer Palace, a masterpiece of imperial garden. Epitomizing man and nature in perfect harmony, it is an ensemble of lakes, hills and various monuments. All the manmade pavilions, corridors and bridges are aesthetically in harmony with natural scenery around them. Take a guided walk and appreciate the intricately painted art works on the long corridor and soak up the impressive monuments along the way. Take a boat ride (optional) on the Kunming Lake is a relaxing and enjoyable way to absorb beauty of Summer Palace.
As your two-day tour comes to an end, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
