Welcome to China! Upon arrival, you are greeted by your guide holding your name sign at the exit, and then transferred to the hotel for a good rest.

Today, your tour starts from walking through the Tiananmen Square and sightseeing the nation's most symbolic buildings.

Then move to the Forbidden City, once the imperial palace for 24 emperors, now a world treasure known as the quintessence of China's ancient royal constructions. Appreciate the exquisite palaces, halls, unrivaled antiques and trace back into the glorious history with your guide.

Continue your travel into Hutongs where common people have been living for generations. Take a rickshaw ride into the small alleys to explore the traditional houses and local life. And learn to paint a facial mask in the famous Peking Opera, a memorable souvenir to bring home.

An eased drive takes you to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most representative and less crowed section of the Great Wall. Ramble on the mammoth "dragon" that is groveling along mountains to protect the ancient territory for hundreds of years. A Round-trip Cable Car allows more time for hiking and enjoying the splendid vista on the Wall.

On your way back, make a stopover to the iconic Bird's Nest and Water Cube to snap some great photos.

Then ride to the Summer Palace, the imperial garden, to explore the harmonious world abounding with delicate landscape and architectural masterpieces.

Early in the morning, walk at leisure in the Temple of Heaven and pay tribute to the buildings peculiarly designed for emperors to worship heaven, gods and pray for harvest. Another highlight here is that you will encounter friendly local people practising Tai Chi, playing diabolo, singing opera, etc. and you are more than welcome to join them.

Afterwards, you will be taken to the railway station for a 4.5-hour high-speed train travel to Xi'an. On arrival, your local guide will meet you and transfer you back to your hotel.

Ride to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum to savor the huge underground army crafted in the hope of protecting Emperor Qin Shihuang in his afterlife. You will not help exclaiming with wonder after seeing the full-sized clay figures -- none of them has the same facial expression, hair style, uniform, etc.

Drive back to the ancient fortification, the largest and best-preserved City Wall. You could walk or cycle on it to enjoy the panoramic view of the old capital and shoot some photos from the best angles.

Then head to the Great Mosque to admire the bi-cultural building group and enjoy your free time in the bustling Muslim Quarter seeking out the popular specialties.

Pay a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda built in the 8th century and know about its architectural miracle.

Then walk to the Xi'an Museum and uncover the Chinese civilization from 3,000 years ago.

On the way to the airport, call at the Hanyang Tombs (Hanyangling Mausoleum), tomb of Emperor Jingdi of Han Dynasty, where you will walk atop the glass walkways and observe the close-at-hand miniature terracotta maids, eunuchs, animals and tools.

Your historic exploration concludes here and you will be escorted to the airport for departure.
