Welcome to China. Upon your arrival at the capital airport, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel by our private vehicle. The rest of the day is left for your own arrangements. You could either get recovered from jetlag or walk about the nearby streets to fill your belly at a restaurant.
Day 2
Beijing
Stroll at Tiananmen Square, marvel at the grand Forbidden City, and learn Chinese calligraphy in an old hutong.
After breakfast, your exploration starts from the landmark of Beijing, Tiananmen Square. You could roam on the square to capture several monuments around, and then stroll to the magnificent Forbidden City, the former residence of 24 emperors from 1368 to 1912. Take a peek at some special chambers of emperors and their concubines that other tour groups seldom cover for a more in-depth discovery of the royal palace and appreciate a variety of exquisite exhibits displaying the past prosperity of the dynasties.
Afterwards, dive into old Hutongs of Beijing to gaze into the dwelling place of common people. In a stylish courtyard, an interesting Chinese calligraphy class would be arranged for you to dig deep on Chinese rich culture.
At last, get transferred to your hotel.

Day 3
Beijing
Conquer the Mutianyu Great Wall, and visit the Summer Palace with a boat ride.
Great Wall is the top one attraction that is nearly included in every China tour itineraries. Snaking across the mountain ridges for 13,000 miles, it is an awe-inspiring fortification to protect the central empire from the attack of the northern nomadic. Today, we select the well-preserved and less touristy Mutianyu section for your sightseeing, and round-trip cable car is included for an easier way up and down. Plenty time is left for you to do some relaxing trekking or photo shooting on the wall.
Then you will be driven back to the downtown Beijing and make your way to another enchanting imperial site, the Summer Palace. A refreshing boat ride on the Kunming Lake is the easiest and best way to take in the beauty of the lakefront causeways, pavilions, marble boat and long corridors.

Day 4
Beijing to Xian by a High-Speed Train
Visit the Temple of Heaven and learn Tai Chi. Take a highspeed train to Xian.

Visit the Temple of Heaven and learn Tai Chi. Today, you will leave for Xian by a high speed train, and before that you could take the morning to visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperor used to practice the prayer ceremony for peace and prosperity of their people. Apart from admiring the ingenuity of the architecture, you could also get a chance to witness Chinese seniors' unique morning exercise in parks, such as Tai Chi, sword practice and kicking shuttlecock. If interested, you are more than welcome to join the locals and learn some Tai Chi moves from them.
After that, you will be escorted to the railway station for an onward highspeed train to Xian, with duration of 5 hours around. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and helped to check in your hotel. e a highspeed train to Xian.

Temple of Heaven
Day 5
Xian
Stand in awe of the Terracotta Army. Learn to make dumplings at a local family living in old cave dwellings. Tour the ancient City Wall followed by a visit to the Great Mosque and the bustling Muslim Street.
In the morning, you will head for an incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Terracotta Army. It is a large underground troop buried to protect Qinshihuang Emperor in his afterlife. Over 8,000 life-sized pottery soldiers are arrayed in the vaults, with different facial expressions and costumes to tell about their different positions in the army.
After that, you will get a chance to enjoy an interesting cooking class to make dumplings in a local family who live in traditional cave dwellings.
Afterwards, return to the city to admire the intact fortification of City Wall that had never been breached since it was built.
Then explore the bustling Muslim Quarter lined with a variety of snack vendors, where will have a chance to try authentic local delicacies. Then visit the Great Mosque hidden in the intertwining alleyways to discover the cultural and religious diversity of old Xian.

Day 6
Xian to Chengdu by a Highspeed Train
Visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum. Take a Highspeed Train to Chengdu.

In the morning, pay a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, an original historical monument from Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 AD). It is more like a tranquil park with centuries-old trees and chambers which are perfect for a leisure stroll. There you could also witness some locals doing their morning workout.
Then walk to the adjacent Xian Museum to recall the glorious past of this ancient capital city by its abundant collections of Buddhist sculptures, statues, exquisite jade wares, etc.
After that, get packed and drive to North Railway Station to catch a bullet train to Chengdu. After 4 hours, you would reach the leisure paradise, Chengdu. Our guide will meet you and transfer you to a hotel for a good rest.

Day 7
Chengdu
Visit Chengdu Panda Base and Jinli Old Street. Take a stroll at People's Park and enjoy a cup of tea at Heming teahouse.
Chengdu is the hometown of giant pandas, and the panda base is the best place to meet with them. You will reach the base a bit earlier, as 8-9 am is their most lively moment to have their breakfast. You cannot only see adult pandas roaming, nibbling bamboos and climbing trees in the open-air enclosures, but also get chances to see the young cubs in their cozy nursery.
Next, move to Jinli Old Street to hunt for some local delicacies and craftworks in these quaint restaurants and shops.
At last, pay a visit to People's Park (Renmin Park) to experience the most authentic leisure life of Chengdu locals. The blind date corner in the park will definitely offers you a very interesting look into Chinese marriage culture that parents try to find a match for their children with pictures and information on posters. Another highlight of the park is the open-air Heming Teahouse with a century-old history, where you could enjoy a cup of fragrant tea sitting in bamboo chairs and even appreciate the exciting Kungfu tea performance with traditional long-spouted teapots.

Day 8
Chengdu to Guilin by Flight
Take a flight to Guilin, and airport – hotel transfer. Visit Elephant Trunk Hill and the Daxu Ancient Town.

A morning flight will take you to Guilin. Upon arrival, your friendly Guilin guide will pick you up.
You will first see the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill, a naturally formed hill looking exactly like an elephant dipping its nose in the Li River to get some water.
Then, you will be driven to Daxu Ancient Town nestled on the eastern bank of Li River. Dating back to Ming and Qing dynasties (1644 - 1911), Daxu is a well-preserved traditional Chinese town keeping ancient wooden and stone buildings, old residences, stone-paved streets with shops and stalls in antique style. Take a leisure stroll to get a deeper insight into the life of local people of previous dynasties.

Guilin to Yangshuo by Li River Cruise
Take a Li River cruise to Yangshuo and explore the countryside by our private vehicle.

Today, you will cruise along the dreamy Li River and soak up the gorgeous landscape flanked by oddly-shaped karst hills and sleepy villages. The drifting takes you to Yangshuo after about 4 to 5 hours. Then, you will admire the idyllic countryside scenery of Yangshuo, where you may see the local farmers work in the rice paddies with their water buffaloes and fishermen cast their net on narrow bamboo rafts. You will stay overnight in peaceful Yangshuo. For a fun night, you could either go out for a walk at the popular West Street or see the wonderful show of Impression Liusanjie, performed.

Yangshuo-Guilin by Private Vehicle, Guilin to Shanghai by Flight
Take a flight to Shanghai. Airport pick-up and transfer to hotel.

Day 11
Shanghai
Venture into the Yuyuan Garden. Stroll along the Nanjing Road and the Bund area and wander around the Xintiandi.
Begin your today's exploration with a visit to the Yu Garden, a classic private garden of Ming dynasty, where you could have a glimpse of traditional Chinese architecture compromised of courtyard, chambers, ponds, pavilions, stone bridges and causeways.
Then make your way to the most prosperous Nanjing Road to experience the shopping paradise of Shanghai, and continue the leisure stroll all the way to the eastern Bund area. The modern glamour is on full display with a cluster of roaring skyscrapers in various architectural styles jutting up by the Huangpu River.
Next, have a leisure walk at Xintiandi to have a cool drink at a fancy bar or café on your own.
At last, drop by the Jade Buddha Temple to take a relaxing stroll while inhaling the tranquil and calm ambience.
