Jiuzhaigou Valley Reopens Since Mar. 8, 2018





An inspiring travel news was learned from our local guide that Jiuzhaigou Valley reopens on Mar. 8, 2018 after seven-month closing for restoration since the devastating earthquake occurred in China's southwestern Sichuan Province on August 8, 2017. Jiuzhaigou is ready to partially open scenic spots includes Long Lake, Five-colored Pond, Mirror Lake, Nuorilang Waterfall, Shuzheng Lakes Cluster, Double-dragon Lake Waterfalls and Zharu Temple from Mar. 8, 2018 to Mar. 7, 2019 due to its ongoing restoration work.
So far, 2,000 tourists are allowed to enter the park daily. For travelers planning to visit Jiuzhaigou Valley, they have to join a grouped tour as individual visitors will not be received by the park. The opening hours is from 08:00 to 17:00. Eco sightseeing buses are available to tour Jiuzhaigou Valley, which make stops at each scenic spot for visitors to explore further. After sight-seeing one, travelers need to hop on the same bus to head for the next spot. The price of the entrance ticket changes a bit, with CNY 110 from Apr. 1 to Nov. 15, and CNY 40 during Mar. 8 - 31 & Nov. 16 to Dec. 31. The fare for the sightseeing bus remains the same, CNY90.
