On November 22nd, 2017, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show unveils its secret in Shanghai, in which 55 angels dressed in 88 ensembles and 39-pair wings fascinate the fans from all over the world.

The brilliant fashion show has been held 22 times since 1995, and this Shanghai Champagne Night is the fourth launch outside the US, following the previous overseas nights in Cannes, London and Paris.

The 55 supermodels include 15 contract angels, such as Adriana Lima, Elsa Hosk, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, etc. It's noteworthy that 6 Chinese models are invited, breaking the last year's record of 4. They are Liu Wen, Sui He, Ming Xi, Xiao Wen Ju, Xin Xie and Estelle Chen (Chinese French).

Besides the models, Harry Styles, Miguel, Jane Zhang (Chinese singer), Li Yundi and many other celebrated performing artists are also on the scene.

The visual feast has 6 themes, including Punk Angel, Porcelain Angels, A Winter's Tale, Millennial Nation, Goddesses and Nomadic Adventure. As it is held in China, some Chinese elements are applied, such as blue and white porcelain. This year, the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra is worth about 2 million dollars.

The event held in Shanghai is considered as a further step towards Chinese market. The 2016-2021 lingerie market size in China is estimated to rise from USD 21 billion to USD 26 billion, a growth rate of 22%, according to market research provider Euromonitor International.

In February, 2017, the first Victoria's Secret (VS) Chinese flagship store debuted in Shanghai. Not more than a month later, the second one was opened in Chengdu, and a Beijing branch are already under preparation. The 3 stores are expected to bring in a sales of USD 150 million annually.
