Beijing's Winning Bid for 2022 Winter Olympics!





The moment IOC (International Olympic Committee) president Thomas Bach announced that China's capital Beijing would be honored with the right to host the 24th Winter Olympics in 2022 with a 44-40 narrow victory over the rival city Almaty, Kazakhstan, China's Olympic dream came true again 14 years later at the 128th IOC session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 31st, 2015.
The national prides arouse spontaneously among all Chinese people and the mayor of Beijing city could not wait to share his excitement with the media, "We cannot realize this Olympic dream without strong supports of our people and our government. And we cordially welcome the friends from all over the world to join us in 2022!"
The victory brings forth not only the fame as the first host city for both Summer and Winter Olympics, but the influence on the international arena as the impressive 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics exerted.
