We just returned home from a great cruise experience on Yangtze River, and I really have to say, everything was beyond my expectations. My considerate travel consultant Candy made perfect arrangements from airport pick up to port drop off since I claimed myself a leisure traveler. The ship we took was Century Paragon, luxury and comfy! When boarding the ship, porters came to help with the luggage, which was greatly appreciated! The crew staff was attentive, always smiling, delighted to offer help at any time, and the cabin room is clean, decent and comfortable, plus a balcony for views. Luckily, we were offered a room upgrade with a reasonable price, and I promptly accepted it as the suites has a much larger balcony. Besides, my wife and I loved the buffet meals offered on board, we could try different cuisines varied from western to Chinese ones every day. Firstly, I thought the culture lectures would be boring, but to my surprise, the river guide does get a sense of humor to make his interpretation clear and interesting. Well, the most unforgettable experience came from an off shore trip to the deeper stream by a wooden boat, that was awesome and worth a try.
