I took a few days to visit Xian during my business trip to Beijing, and I had Elysian Tour organized my sightseeing around the city. Camilla was an excellent tour guide who was the key to the success of my tour. She picked me up from the North Railway Station and went to dinner with me at a local restaurant serving the best dumplings I'd ever eaten.

The Terracotta Army was a definite highlight of my trip. Like all other visitors, I was overwhelmed with the scale of the army. Camilla has an impressive knowledge on the diggings, pointing out unique differences of dressing and hairstyles between ordinary soldiers and higher ranking officers that I was unable to discover on my own. Making a mini Terra Cotta clay warrior was icing on the cake, so to speak. The bike ride on the city wall and the street food in Muslim Quarter could be more enjoyable if it hadn't sprinkled.

Just in a couple days, I had great conversations with Camilla. She was frank about her life in the city and how she lives as a working mother. This made my tour not just fun but more of personal. Overall, both the guide and driver provided me top-notch service, and I certainly would like to have them if I visit Xian again.
