Our trip with Elysian Tour was a big success. All guides were knowledgeable and kept us safe and entertained. We were sorry we could not go on the Li River Cruise but of course that was not your tour company's fault---weather and river floods cannot be predicted!

Beijing: We liked going to the Great Wall and the interesting parts of Beijing. Amazing sites! Ms. Coco was polite and knew her history. The driver was really good and he smiled at us and made us think he cared to provide us with good service. The hotel in Beijing was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good.

Guilin: Guilin was very special. Maybe we will go back there sometime. Mr. Tony is an excellent guide, great English, very kind, and quite personable. He has a great spirit and he knows his area very well. We really liked the bamboo raft ride---it would be great to have it be a little longer! We really liked Daxu and Yangshou, too. All of the restaurants Mr. Tony suggested were great. The hotel is good, clean, in a great location for walking around. Good buffet, good views and interesting waterfall exhibit at night from that hotel! Yangshou hotel was also nice. There was a night fireworks show that we could watch from our balcony.

Shanghai: We loved Yang Jing, our guide in Shanghai. She was the best guide of all. Her English is excellent and she has lived in the US so she is able to relate very well with Americans. She was smart, kind, and made sure we were happy with what we were doing. She was genuinely interested in us and made us feel special. She was very organized and knowledgeable. We liked Shanghai and its fascinating history. The tour here was well planned. The driver was very friendly, his car was the most comfortable, and he drove great. The hotel was in a good place, and very comfortable with good food. We easily found the herb store the guide got the address for, and got a consultation and some medicines that were helping a problem we had!

Ms. Candy, we are really happy at how much personal attention you gave to our desires for our time in China. Thank you for your help with the planning, organization, and research. It was a great first look at China. If and when we make a 2nd trip, we will not hesitate to contact you again!
